Engineer
- Position filled
An
experienced engineer with a proven ability in managing multiple projects
in an electro-mechanical engineering industry. A proven ability in running
multi-discipline design and development projects, you will have excellent
organisational skills and work well under pressure. An efficient and tidy
worker, you will also possess very good documentation skills and the ability
to work to set procedures. Produce innovative and cost effective solutions to design and production problems - Identify opportunities for cost saving projects and develop solutions. Knowledge of Electro-Mechanical design would be an advantage. Source new suppliers and liaise with engineering and management staff. The successful candidate will show good interpersonal and organisational skills, have excellent communication skills to converse with all levels from supplier to customer, be a team worker with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, sometimes to tight deadlines. Any necessary in house training will be provided. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must. Experience of Microsoft Project SolidWorks and Stockit software would be an advantage. Academic
qualifications are secondary to a proven track record in the engineering
business.The
post is primarily based in the Norwich facility, although there will be
periodic off-site work including duty on offshore installations which is compensated by a very generous offshore bonus rate.Ideally the applicant should hold a full passport and driving licence. |
Electronics Engineer - Position filled A vacancy has arisen for an Electronics Engineer to design, develop, construct and commission electro-mechanical inspection equipment for the oil and gas industry. Knowledge and experience of analogue and digital circuit design and a good knowledge of microcontroller based programming and windows based programming is a requirement. DSP and video compression experience is highly desirable; experience with Acoustic technology would be beneficial. Mechanical Engineer - Position filled An experienced Mechanical Engineer is required to design, build, and repair electro-mechanical sub assemblies and under water tools and housings. Must have good working knowlege of machining techniques, and SolidWorks design software.Any necessary in house training will be provided.The successful candidate will show good interpersonal and organisational skills, be a team worker with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, sometimes to tight deadlines.A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must. Some offshore work will be required after training; this is compensated by a very generous offshore bonus rate. Ideally the applicant should hold a full passport and driving licence. Electronics Technician - Position filled A vacancy has arisen for a person with a proven ability in electrical assembly, test and repair including Printed Circuit Boards at component level, harness / loom wiring and cable preparation and build of electro-mechanical sub assemblies to a very high standard. Ability to read Engineering drawings and Electronic schematics is essential.The successful candidate will show good interpersonal and organisational skills, be a team worker with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, sometimes to tight deadlines. Any necessary in house training will be provided. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must. Some offshore work will be required after training; this is compensated by a very generous offshore bonus rate.Ideally the applicant should hold a full passport and driving licence. Documentation Clerk - Position filled Clerk required to control, file and update company records including Solidworks-drawings, technical manuals, operation manuals, operating procedures, risk assessments, templates, etc. Additional office duties as required in an expanding and busy company. The successful candidate will show good interpersonal skills, be friendly, enthusiastic with an excellent telephone manner a team worker with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Any necessary in house training will be provided. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word is essential. Office Trainee - Position filled General reception duties, filing and placing orders, booking travel and accommodation, answering telephone and greeting clients. The successful candidate will show good interpersonal skills, be friendly, enthusiastic with an excellent telephone manner a team worker with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Any necessary in house training will be provided. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word is essential.
